Equipped with XSD Ultra technology, these motors achieve an ISO 1940 Grade 1.0 Precision Plus balance with a vibration level of 0.04 in/sec, ensuring smooth, reliable performance and extended bearing life. The motors are also fitted with a Class H GEGARD insulation system, optimized for variable frequency drive applications to prevent short circuits and overcurrent trips where other insulation designs may fail.
Designed for longevity, these motors offer an L10 bearing life of 130,000 hours for direct-connected applications and 26,280 hours for belted applications, without any life adjustment factors.
Each XSD Ultra motor undergoes comprehensive testing per MG1 Part 12 IEEE Standard 112, Test Method B, with 2% of production sampled to verify compliance. Every motor is accompanied by a routine test report, confirming IEEE 841-2009 specification compliance.
In-stock XSD Ultra motors can be UL-listed, CSA-listed, or GE self-certified for Division 2 locations and are available with modifications to meet ATEX Zone 2 or CE requirements as needed.
